Refund Policy

Cancellations

Note: This section only applies to purchases made directly on our website, and does not apply to any rewards received through crowdfunding campaigns on platforms including Kickstarter and BackerKit. For crowdfunding questions, see section below titled "Crowdfunding".

If you would like to cancel an order made through our store, please email support@vueglasses.com. The team will initiate a refund once they have received the support request. Please note that all orders are subject to restocking fees when a refund is requested. The restocking fee applies to each pair of glasses. If the manufacturing of your lenses has already begun prior to your request for cancellation, the restocking fee will still apply to your order. 

Restocking fees (all prices are in USD):

  • Non-prescription, clear lenses: $0
  • Single vision prescription lenses: $25 
  • Tinted lenses (prescription and non-prescription): $25
  • Blue light filtering lenses (prescription and non-prescription): $30
  • Photochromic lenses (prescription and non-prescription): $60
  • Polarized lenses (prescription and non-prescription: $60
  • Progressive, clear lenses: $80
  • Progressive blue light filtering lenses: $90
  • Progressive photochromic lenses: $100
  • Progressive polarized lenses: $100

The refund on your order will therefore be the price you paid less the restocking fee. 

 

Return Procedure

For any orders that have been shipped, customers may request a return within 7 days after the product is delivered. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. The customer must return the product(s) to our service center.

First, email us at support@vueglasses.com to request an RMA number. We will reply with an RMA number and an address to ship the product back to. You, the customer, will bear the cost of the return shipment and all associated costs of such a return will be at your sole expense.  

When we receive the return at our service center, we will inspect the product. The product must be free of defects, damage, disassembly, or any type of alteration as a result of abuse or misuse. If the returned product is approved for refund after inspection, the refund will be made to your original purchasing method. 

 

Personalizations and Custom Etches

Glasses with personalized etches are non-refundable. The etching process permanently alters the glasses, rendering them unable to be refurbished or resold. The frames are still subject to our Warranty Policy and if they need to be replaced, the etching will be re-done at no extra cost. However, any refunds provided will not cover the frames if they have been purchased with the etching or personalization. 

 

Crowdfunding

Glasses delivered as a result of participating in crowdfunding campaigns on platforms including Kickstarter and BackerKit are considered rewards in exchange for your pledge and are not eligible for refunds or returns. 

Backers from crowdfunding platforms including Kickstarter and BackerKit can read each respective platform's Terms of Service for more details:
